Purchase: I bought this guitar with cash for £180 with loads of stuff from a small local shop.
Pros: This guitar looks good and feels good. It looks like a fender. I felt that this guitar could be used for any kind of music, from country to metal.
Cons: The sound it produces isn't great, and it rattles a bit. But when considering the price, you can't really complain.
Quality: It feels good to play, looks good and is really durable. I dropped mine down the stairs and it was still ok.
Summary: This guitar isn't perfect, but for the price its great! A good starting model.

Purchase: I got this for £130 as part of a set - amp, strap, tuner etc. It was my first guitar, and I still play it occasionally.
Pros: This guitar keeps the tuning quite well too, and the tremolo unit does not usually throw it too much out of tune.
Cons: The sound leaves a lot to be desired. The neck on mine wasn't very smooth either.
Quality: The construction is quite solid, and the guitar is able to take lots of knocks and bumps. Once again, the pickups lack a good sound, and there is a lot of background noise.
Summary: This guitar is okay for the first-time buyer. It does not have a good sound, but (almost) everyone buys more guitars, so that is almost acceptable. However, this guitar is still below par.
