Purchase: I bought it from Musician's Friend and paid about a hundred bucks. Pros: It's been very dependable and held up very well. I bought this when I was 16 and just wanted something to play around on. I picked it up and still use it today. It was definitely the best guitar for the price. Cons: It made to resemble the Fender Stratocaster, but doesn't have the signature headstock. Quality: Very well constructed. Has held together great. Summary: Best deal I've ever seen.

Purchase: I got it as a gift from my aunt and it is the best cheapo ever. Pros: It has good pickups and is very light weight. It gets awesome tone and cool distortion Cons: The nut is super high making it hard to play the first fret Quality: Overall it is pretty sturdy. It fell out of its bag down some stairs and still sounds great Summary: Awesome for those who want a second guitar

Purchase: I bought it from Musicians Friend for $79. Pros: It is a great guitar for the price. It sounds as good or better than most higher priced strat copies. Cons: The tuning stability gets a little shaky if you use the whammy bar too much. Quality: This thing has survived through a lot(dropping on the floor/down the stairs, etc) and still plays as good as when i got it. Summary: This is a kick ass guitar for chump change. I would recommend it for anybody looking for a good guitar for next to nothing.

Purchase: The Rogue By Suier St-3 Electric guitar I bought at musicianfriend.com i payed $69.99 for this awesome beginner guitar, also if your on a very tight budget. Pros: what i like about it its a great beginner guitar at a bargain price. Its playable. Cons: you have to set it up first when you buy it since its a inexpensive guitar usually the set up costs about 20 bucks at a repair shop. Quality: It has a Maple neck, 3 single coil pickups, and a fulcrum tremolo with removable bar make it a serious screamer. Summary: If your a beginner barely starting to play the rogue by squier st-3 is the guitar you should get also if your on a tight budget.
