History:
Purchase: I bought my EVO through musicians friend 3 1/2 weeks ago. I paid 479.99, and purchased a 99.00 dollar Dean EVO hardshell case with it.
What I Like About This Dean EVO Phantom: I love the bolt down bridge, and The Grover tuners never un-tune unless serverly smacked or unless I ALLOW IT! Noone touches my trrriple black hardware and triple coat black double gloss glazed body. I even like the clear magni-tuners which come with it, just like many higher end models.
What I Do NOT Like About The Dean EVO Phantom: Have to polish it too much, too afraid of smudges and scraches when I'm not playing deep mohangany sound. Sometimes I wish for two volumes and two tuners, but for this guitar they are really not needed, this packs power and deep sound no matter how you like to tune her.
Dean EVO Phantom Quality Rating: FLAWLESS
PERFECT
TOO GLOSSY
THE HALF ARCH FASTBACK NECK IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO ALONG WITH AN ARCHED MAPLE TOP ON TOP OF HONDURAS MOHOGANY!!!GO NUTZZZ!!
Review Summary: If you want quality, BUY THIS GUITAR!
P.s. I named her EmiLy, Extacy EVO Pantom the III, for she ate the first EVO 60 and EVO special to be so wicked and strong.............crunch!
