Purchase: I baught this amp off of a friend for a low price of $100 canadian dollars(the amp is $119 american on musiciansfriend) I needed a practice amp quik and this was the first one i found.
Pros: It has a great tremelo and a great look. The gain is also awsome it has such a muddy overdrive.
Cons: there is only one channel so it doesnt do much good having a footswitch, other than that, nothing!
Quality: Its a Vox and they are always built great.

Review Summary: The amp is one of the best practie amps ive heard, the tone is awsome i could probably mic it at gigs and have all the power i needed.

Purchase: Paid $220 Canadian for it at Tom Lee Music in Richmond BC. I liked the looks and the vintage vibe.
Pros: First off, this amp is by far the coolest- looking amp in that price range (100-350 Cdn). The amp is pretty loud for practicing; i use it for that reason so i didn't need a stronger amp. The tone is exactly what u expect from Vox; it's vintage tone is unique from Fender, Marshall, Hiwatt etc. I like the headphone input since i practice all through the night; i don't need my parents hitting my door at 4 am to stop playing.
Cons: I think the overdrive can be a little muddy but it's not bad. There's no reverb but there's vibrato...who really needs vibrato and nor reverb? Aside from those things, it kicks ass.
Quality: The construction is what you expect from Vox. It's strong and has held up to being dropped out of my car twice. The speaker is a Vox Bulldog made in England; that helps explain the great tone.

Review Summary: It's a great practice and backstage amp. Regarding appearance, no practice amp comes close to its looks and appeal. Great-sounding and is built to last.

Purchase: I bought it on a local music store for 150$ (live in Sweden). ripoff! I bought it because I had just bought Strat and I needed an amplifier for it.
Pros: The only thing I like with this amp is the overdrive you can get. It's kinda warm...
Cons: Everything else I hate. For example the headphone Jack gives a awful tone. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! The distorsion sounds like frett buzz if you use headphones.
Quality: Quality's kinda good... I've had it for about a year and every now and then it says BANG! not sure why... But it is really hard... And it weighs like 13 pounds...

Review Summary: PURE SHIT!

Purchase: It is my first amp for practising. I needed a small "room-amp". So I got this for about 400 bucks (converted from DM). A good choice for this job.
Pros: Nice look, and it features tremolo, clean and overdriven channel. It has foot switch plug, tremolo rate, tremolo depth, bass, treble, volume ang gain knobs. Plus one headphone out plug.
Cons: The only thing I don't like about this amp is that f**king 15W. It is not powerful enough.
Quality: No problems with it. Hard and handsome, just like me. :o)))

Review Summary: Too loud for my parents, but not loud enough between a drum and a bass guitar. Good for individual parcticing, but that's all.
