History:
Purchase: I needed a 5 string, so I went to the local music store and grabbed this one for $250, with a hard case!
What I Like About This Austin Instruments AU790PB: Very light, the strings are close together so you're not struggling across a huge fretboard just to play. Beautiful design. Snappy sound, custom pickups take out most of the krackle from the strings if you don't know how to play. You can easily achieve any sound you want from this bass.
What I Do NOT Like About The Austin Instruments AU790PB: Knobs come lose easily, just like any other string-electric instrument I play...
Austin Instruments AU790PB Quality Rating: Basswood construction, maple neck, nice finish.
Review Summary: Some people don't like the close string spacing on these, I personally enjoy it. The sound you get out of this bass is simply amazing, and very easy to control!
