Crate Review: PA4SYS1 PA System

What I Like About This Crate PA4SYS1 PA System: This is a perfect starter/practice PA. If you are starting a new band, and don't need any more that 4 channels, this is the PA to get. For its price range it has very good sound and it gets loud enough to hear the vocals over a full band. It has a 3 band master eq,2 bands on the channel controls, a master reverb and reverb control for each channel. This PA is very easy to set up and use, even if you've never seen a mixer close up.

What I Do NOT Like About The Crate PA4SYS1 PA System: If you are with a giging band, you might want to look for something with a little more power. In a small room, or for practice this PA works fine, but in a larger room, or outdoors, the sound tends to get overpowered.

Crate PA4SYS1 PA System Quality Rating: Construction is rock solid. I'e had this unit for 2 years of constant use, and several drunken parties, and I've never had a problem.

Review Summary: This is a very good PA if your looking for something entry level that you can use for jamming, or playing parties at friends houses. If your looking for paying gigs, look for something bigger.
