Purchase: This is my first bass and i bought it in a bass pack, it came w/ the mxb10 amp, strap, gig bag, video, guitar, it was bout $400 with everything
What I Like About This Unit: Its an awesome beginner bass, good for the first time bassist, i recommend it if you need to begin right away
What I Do NOT Like About The Crate California Classic: After awhile the paint starts comeing off, the strings start to buzz, the neck begins to bow a little bit, not really noticiable at first, and part of the j-bass pick up stops workin
California Classic Quality: its has good constructin, sterdy
Summary: Good for begginers just not a good long term bass
