Electar Review: Tube 30

Electar Guitar Amplifiers

History:

Purchase: Bought this from musicyo.com for 130 bucks. However, they discontinued it and your best bet is EBAY.

What I Like About This Electar Tube 30: Its a 25 watts of nice class A tone. Basically its a poor man's Vox Ac 30, change the tubes and its great and to make it even better change the tubes and the speaker. although that adds to the final cost of this amp, what it ends up as is a very very sweet sounding amp for your cleans.

What I Do NOT Like About The Electar Tube 30: The overdrive is really weak...no effects loop. thats about it. Use a distortion pedal with this folks

Electar Tube 30 Quality Rating: Very good as I percieve it.

Review Summary: You owe it to yourself if you are a beginner or if you need a practice amp to check this out. Not quite loud enough to gig but loud enough to practice with a drummer.

Rating of this Electar product: 5

Electar XM1204 powered mixer - Buy it for recording purposes or a small indoor gig. If you need true digital/optical, this one does not have optical or S/PDIF. If you want to jam bigtime, this is ideal too, but will require a big amp to boost the power (only 100Wx2) ...

Electar 4 Special PA Rig - For it's size and price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better system, IMO. The 60 watts is all I need for acoustic gigs. I added a set of speaker stands that I got on sale for $50.00/pr. and a set of small, lightweight floor monitors for $75.00 ...

Electar Tube 30 - You owe it to yourself if you are a beginner or if you need a practice amp to check this out. Not quite loud enough to gig but loud enough to practice with a drummer....

Electar Tube 10 - If you are looking for a great little practice or recording amp, you'll have a hard time beating the Tube 10 at any where the price!...
