History:
Purchase: $600 was the cost. Acquired at local dealer. Was told this was a low price replacement for Les Paul guitar and it was the same manufacturer.
What I Like About This Samick Les Paul Artist Series: Plays, looks good. Has a very nice finish. Bubinga wood
What I Do NOT Like About The Samick Les Paul Artist Series: Neck is weaker than I like and can be easily moved with a little arm pressure on the guitar body, which makes it sound out of tune.
Some of the hardware is lower quality, like the tuners. Does not stay in tune so well, but better than the low end electrics like Squier.
Samick Les Paul Artist Series Quality Rating: Good construction. Neck is not as strong as I would like. Tuners are OK, but not great.
Review Summary: Probably a good buy for the money, but not up to par with true Les Pauls
Rating of this Samick product: 3
