ESP Review: LTD MH-301

ESP Acoustic Guitars

History:

Purchase: I ordered this guitar from the Guitar World in Queensland, Nerang. They charged me $1500 AUD, which means I paid $400 less than the RRP ($1900). Cheerin'...

What I Like About This ESP LTD MH-301: EVERYTHING. It has all the essentials for a great axe, in my opinion it is the best purchase you can make in this price range. It came with a great action setup and I have experienced no problems with it whatsoever.

What I Do NOT Like About The ESP LTD MH-301: NOTHING except that the headstock doesn't seem to like wall guitar stands very much because of it's angled, pointed shape.

ESP LTD MH-301 Quality Rating: See-thru cherry red colour, neck-thru constuction, slim body and a stunning quilted maple top make this guitar look excellant and also feel excellant. The maple neck is wide (extra jumbo 24) and also lengthy (25.5") which is a very nice attribute. The nut locks and black Floyd Rose Licensed locking bridge are awesome, the guitar stays in tune even when you are ripping it to s*** with the tremolo bar; therefore perfect for onstage performance. The EMG-HZ humbuckers sound really nice, and there is a lot of room for tone experimentation with the 5-slot pickup selector. Nice chunky sound with crunch but can also deliver a very subtle, yet pronounced clean.

Review Summary: All in all, the only thing that could possibly make this guitar any better would be to throw in a pair of EMG-81s...however this is an amazing guitar regardless, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wouldn't mind spending some good money on a quality instrument made by a respectable company. ESP rock.

ESP KH-2 - Customer service kicks ass - most people say otherwise (although, this was a pretty expensive guitar, so maybe that has something to do with it...). The forgot to ship my trem bar with the axe, and I called them up and they fed-ex'd it right away. ...

ESP LTD SC-500 - I would definitely get this guitar again, it sounds awesome and that's what matters. And the price/quality rate is great. And the confort + tone quality makes up for the lack of sturdiness....

ESP M-55 - Once you replace the stock pickups you have a great sounding guitar....

ESP H-100 - WOULD BE PERFECT WITH AN EMG-85 FOR RHYTHM AND EMG-81 LEAD...

ESP LTD B-104 Fretless - Its the best bass for the price I recomend it for all users esecially beginers...

ESP M-55 - I think this guitar is a good starter guitar. if you are just starting, u wont notice anything....
