Purchase: I walked into my local guitar shop(derby, england) with £180 not expecting to get anything because i was after a good quality individual axe. Straight away my eyes saw the OLP, picked it up and played it...loved the colour, the feel, everything and nearly converted to christianity when i saw the price tag!£169.99!
Pros: The finish is good transparent purple, the headstock is individual because it has a 4-2 config. It sounds great....what is there not to like
Cons: OOO, Should come with duncan designed pickups, just to boost the sound abit...
Quality: The guitar is well made. The neck joint is smooth and gives good access to the upper frets. The action is good, and the frets kiss my fingers as i play...

Review Summary: This is a great guitar. Affordable and quality. I use it as my main guitar, and hammered through a ds-1 distortion pedal it sounds great!

Pros: I love this guitar it is little has great action sound quality is good stays in tune even after a cuple days of not playing or a lot of bending tweeking of the strings.
Cons: I have no complaints so far.
Quality: This guitar is built for the beginers and the experienced. Its an all around guitar for any one. It is a guitar you can pick up and wont put down.

Review Summary: Buy this guitar It is the best thing out there.

Purchase: BOUGHT FOR£200.00(STERLING),AT ELECTRIC AVENUE MUSIC....(THANKS ANDY!)AS A BACKUP/SPARE GUITAR FOR MY MODIFIED MEXICAN STRAT.LOVED THE LOOK,AND INSTANTLY "FRIENDLY"FEEL OF THE NECK.
Pros: I CAN`T PUT IT DOWN!AFTER SETTING IT UP,(TIGHTENED MACHINE HEADS,REMOVED THE WANG BAR/SET THE BRIDGE TO LEVEL),I SET ABOUT PLAYING ALONG WITH A DEEP PURPLE DVD(STEVE MORSE!....JEEEEEEEEEESUS!)AND FOUND MYSELF PULLING OFF ALL MANNER OF RIDICULOUS TRICKS/RIFFS/AND ASSORTED TOMFOOLERY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!IT`LL BE PLAYED IN IN NO TIME..... I PLAY THROUGH A KORG G1 DISTOTION PROCESSOR AND A VOX PATHFINDER PRACTICE AMP AT HOME,WITH A LITTLE COMPRESSION OCCASIONALLY,AND AM DELIGHTED WITH THE RANGE OF SOUNDS FROM THIS GUITAR!
Cons: WANG BAR SYSYEM LETS IT DOWN,AND MAY(POSSIBLY)BE REPLACED WITH PERHAPS A WILKINSON OR SIMILAR....I DON`T LIKE LOCKING TREMS AT ALL....TOO FIDDLY,AND "LOCK YOU OUT"OF THE GUITAR TOO MUCH FOR ME! FAUX TOP IS OK,BUT A LITTLE TOO "FLASH",BUT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT WHEN IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS!
Quality: SUPERB CONSTRUCTION....MILES AHEAD OF THE "COPY"GUITARS OF THE 70`S/80`S I HAD TO PUT UP WITH,AND IF I`M HONEST,IS A SERIOUS RIVAL FOR THE MEX STRATS I HAVE(BUT WON`T PART WITH!) I`M SURE THE PICKUPS WILL BE RELACED...OR POSSIBLY JUST THE BRIGE POSITION UNIT....BUT FOR NOW,I DON`T NEED TO BOTHER AS I DON`T PLAY GIGS.WE`LL SEE......! I FOUND IT USEFUL TO "VASELINE"THE NUT TO STOP SQUEAKS ETC,WHEN TUNING,BUT AGAIN,NO REAL PROBLEM!

Review Summary: I CAN`T BELIEVE THIS "LITTLE" GUITAR COST £200.00! HOW THE HELL DO THESE GUYS DO IT FOR THE MONEY! FORGET THE "BRAND NAME ON THE HEADSTOCK"POSING AND PLAY SOME GUITAR WITH THIS,IT`LL DO WHAT YOU WANT IT TO,AND SO FAR HASN`T DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. CONGRATULATIONS OLP/MUSIC MAN/EVH......YOU`VE MADE A CYNIC INTO A BELIEVER....AFTER 30 YEARS OF PLAYING JUST ABOUT EVERY MAKE OF GUITAR.I`M CONVERTED!

Purchase: i purchased this OLP MM1 (MusicMan Axis copy, liscenced by Ernie Ball) at my local Sam Ash in Sarasota, FL, for about $200. i was sold on it after playing on it for about 5 minutes for it's easy of playing and natural tone, sustain and overall feel.
Pros: neck & fingerboard has a wonderful feel and is easily at home in any playing style from picking to thrash. stays in tune quite well and construction is good enough to carry great tone and sustain. it's a 25.5" scale but feels and even looks smaller, the amount of control and harmonic tone and ability is far above the price it retails for. true creme binding and matched headstock makes for a better looking axe on stage and sounds great with any amp, effects, or combination of set-ups out there.
Cons: the single volume knob fuzzes in and out while rotating, but easily replaced. the pick-ups are okay, but i would really reccomend replacing them as you go along. the nut is white plastic, it holds tune well but is hell on the set up and long term innotation, graphite would be better. not terrible, but helpful to upgrade as with any guitar $200-350 pricing. is far better than most out there. the "Transparent Amber" finish with a photo-faux quilt is obvious for over a mile and should have been avoided in this case (though the purple trans finish doesn't look as bad).
Quality: wood, construction and hardware quality is better than most Epiphones and "Mexican" Fenders, beats Squier, Rogue or other 'copy brands' hands down. the frets are thick and 'cornered' for a really fast and solo-friendly feel. wiring is well done and no rat's nests hide in the cavaties. most importantly, customer service and correspondence is top notch, better that most big name brands out there.

Review Summary: out of the box, damn good beginner that someone can grow and learn with and not just playing, but care and upgrading and learning the guitar on the whole. nice back-up for gigs or, with upgrades to electronics and graphite nut, this can easily be a fantastic studio and primary guitar on gigs while you save up for an expensive guitar. can take a beating and stay in tune. definately a good investment to any guitarist, of any calibure or style.

Purchase: I found this guitar at a local music store that had it on display, and I liked it so much after one sitting I bought it. I paid about $250, which is a little more than they are in musicians friend, but to have it right away it was worth it.
Pros: Every good musician says that there is one guitar that just feels right, and I found that in this inexpensive model. It is a really hot guitar with an extremely fast neck. The pickups that come standard are good for the price, but it wouldn't hurt to upgrade. But the overall playability and performace sound are excellent.
Cons: I really don't have any dislikes on this particular model.
Quality: It has a good quality maple neck, the action is very low and easily playable. No ruff edges like you might find on a mexican made model.

Review Summary: Frankly I am very impressed with this guitar. I actually sold one of my Fender Strats after buying this guitar. I had texas special single coils in my strat, but I think that the standard pickups in the OLP are hotter.

Purchase: I bought this guitar at a local music store for 275$. I over payed a little but I didn't want to wait from orderdering online. It can be bought on musicians friend for 200$.
Pros: The things I liked about this guitar is that it is incredebly light and has a smaller body and neck. It has good action and stays in tune incredibly well.
Cons: The sound quality isn't the best. But for the price you could put in a new pickup and be ready to go.
Quality: I haven't had a problem with this guitar since I bought it. Nice finish.

Review Summary: Well for the price, this is a great little guitar just to kick around or use as your main guitar. Great for begginers and experienced guitar players alike.
