History:
Purchase: I got it in a small music store in Dublin,paid €199(not too bad). i was only starting out so i wasnt looking for anything brilliant
What I Like About This Unit: Not much! its a good enough bass to start your road to glory with. its easy to play and it stays in tune fairly good.
What I Do NOT Like About The Encore PK40: its unbelievable noisy,its always spitting and crackling and thats even wih the gain turned down! but worst of all is the electronics. i had to re-solder the whole lot of it and now the volume dial has given up(it does loud and off,no more no less)
PK40 Quality: its very sturdy and the finish is fairly good. it doesnt dent easily so in the retrospect its good for a beginer
Summary: apart from the electronics its good but then again whats an electric guitar without electrics?
