Purchase: I bought this guitar at Daddy's Junky Music for $249.
Pros: This is by far the most comfortable guitar I've ever held in my hands. The neck is amazing, the body is well balanced. I play twice as much now as I did with my old guitar, just because I love picking it up.
Cons: The nut was grooved too deeply for the G string, so the open string has fret buzz, but I'm having that taken care of. That is the only defect of any sort on this beautiful instrument.
Quality: The royal blue finish is very nice, the neck binding is beautiful, it came set up correctly, and it gives every appearance of being durable.

Review Summary: An amazing value for the money, no other electric at this price can touch it.

Purchase: I got this guitar at music123.com on closeout for $242.99 I believe.
Pros: This guitar has unbelievably good sound. It can be played with anytime of music, from classic rock like led zeppelin and ACDC to punk like the misfits and anti-flag to metalcore like avenged sevenfold and converge. excellent tuners come with the guitar to. very lightweight and easy to take around although i would recommend a hardshell case with this purchase. i like the 24 frets for higher notes.
Cons: the only thing i dont like are the strings that come with it, i would recommend getting some ernie balls.
Quality: very well put together, nice lightweight body with good neck construction, great quality especially for a korean instrument

Review Summary: the perfect guitar for the price. ibanez is definitely showing off its finest abilities with this guitar. the neck has the easiest playability of any guitar ive played. the tunes dons slip out of tune after like 1 day like my other guitars. perfect guitar for an artist who plans on playing a couple shows in the near future. a great buy for anyone

Purchase: I purchased this guitar from Zzounds for $242.00 (free shipping). I have an RG220B with a Floyd Rose, and wanted a fixed bridge model for alternate tunings.
Pros: The neck is great! It's a 24 fret Wizard II, same as my RG220B, and plays fast and effortlessly. I also like the fixed bridge, although it is made somewhat cheap for a guitar of this "caliber". The action can be set very low with no buzzing, and it stays in tune very well considering I bend the strings and get pretty wild with it. This guitar has some incredible sustain, almost too much! The guitar looks great. Mine is Royal Blue and looks more like Black than Blue. The hardware is black chromed.
Cons: The pickups are nowhere near the caliber of the one on the RG220B. They just don't have the same punch. The body is much lighter, I guess from cheaper wood. The black coating on the hardware is starting to wear off, and it's less than a month old. This guitar "feels" considerably cheaper made than my RG220B, which was made in 2000. Both guitars were made in Korea.
Quality: Construction is good. The guitar looked very good when I first got it, and I found no flaws or bad joints. My only real problem is after only a few weeks it is exhibiting some real signs of wear. My RG220B is almost 4 years older and is still in showroom condition. I baby my guitars, and they get all the TLC in the world. I guess the quality of Ibanez guitars has taken a nosedive, but then...haven't all major brands?

Review Summary: This guitar plays well, but I don't think it will last very long. After owning 5 different Ibanez guitars, all of excellant quality...I think the company has sold out to the Chinese. I doubt there will be any new Ibanez's in my future...unless they are older models.
