History:
Purchase: This was great, I wanted a new bass, so i went searching for a fender bass guitar. I found myself at musiciansbuy.com, and I ended up looking at the marcus miller jazz bass. I paid a total of 759.99 for it. With all the bells and wistles. I got a free strap, gig bag, stand, cord, and tuner, all free. And as an added bonus, it was free shipping and handeling.
What I Like About This Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass: The bass has one of the best, most crisp sounds i have heard. Buying it was worth every last penny. It's not only one of the best sounding basses i've played, but it is by far my favorite when it comes to beauty. It has an ash body with a maple fretboard, with pearl block inlays that seem to flow perfectly with it. The pick gaurd eccentricates the lines of the guitar in ways that please the eye greatly.
What I Do NOT Like About The Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass: The only thing i don't like about the bass is that it has a metal plate that covers the neck pickup and strings right where one might want to play. But this problem is easiy solved, just remove the plate with a screwdriver and you're ready to go. And it's easily put back in place if the guitar is on display (it's pretty).
Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass Quality Rating: The quality surprised me, all the frets were in line, no neck problems, and everything was secure in it's place. No loose screws or knobs.
Review Summary: Fender has always made quality bass guitars, so if you are a beginner oa an experienced musician, a fender bass will always be a good choice. And the Marcus Miller Jazz bass is no exception.
