History:
Purchase: I picked up this bass from my local store in wycombe (england) simply because i had become interested in playing bass and this seemed to be by far the best starter option.I paid 240 UK pounds
(about $350).This price included a 10 watt practice amp, gig bag, picks, and a book and cd.
What I Like About This Ibanez GSR200: The neck is thin and easy to wrap your fingers around - ideal for beginners who have not yet developed finger strength.
It gives a wonderful sound for it's price and most importantly-it looks sweet!!!
What I Do NOT Like About The Ibanez GSR200: The Jazz pickup buzzes very occasionally .Nothing to woory a bout , especially when playing at a decent volume.
Ibanez GSR200 Quality Rating: This is where this bass really excells. Most 'starter basses' are built like shit, but this isn't a starter bass. It's a proper one at an affordable price.
Review Summary: If you are starting out, this is really the only option unless you have too mutch money for your own good.BUY IT!!
