Epiphone Review: Les Paul Std QuiltTop

Epiphone Electric Guitars

History:

Purchase: I got my axe from Coda music the UK. They sold me the guitar but thats about it. Not the best service but the guitar was delivered on time and in perfect nick. I paid £250.00!! Way less than any other shop I could find anywhere.

What I Like About This Epiphone Les Paul Std QuiltTop: The blood red finish is a real gem and the quilt finish is worthy of PRS. The inlays inlays are trapazoid and look cool, and the neck is fast and really smooth action all the way up the neck. There's just too many good things about it. The pick-ups are no problem at all. Was gonna change them for Gibsons but theres just no need. No hum whatsoever, just ready to rock.

What I Do NOT Like About The Epiphone Les Paul Std QuiltTop: There's nothing to dislike really, only that its an Epiphone and not a Gibson.

Epiphone Les Paul Std QuiltTop Quality Rating: As a whole the quality is excellent. A finish almost to rival a PRS. Ok, maybe not quite but its close and it cost a fraction of the price. All the hardware is spot on, excellent Grover tuners, Gibson designed pick ups, and man when you turn the volume up do they scream!! Authentic tones like you want.

Review Summary: I would recommend this axe to anyone who wants that sort of tone cos you just can't warrant the extra money for the difference in sound. And if you get picky just replace the pickups and your away again. Proper 'bo, I tell thee.

Epiphone LP X-treme - the deal I got was awesome but its all out now. just wish it didn't need a little repair. but soon as its fixed it'll be my favorite guitar. What more can you ask for than a great sounding and looking guitar at a great price. an lp under 600 dolla...

Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Special 4-String Electric - For its price, the Les Paul bass is a pretty good instrument. I don't think it's a better instrument than my OLP StingRay copy, but it is more comfortable to play, and it's easier to change your tone than with the OLP because of the position of the ...
