Purchase: I bought it at a local SAMASH. I needed a good sound modual for my keyboard. It was about $400.00
Pros: It works very well and sounds pretty. It's alsojust the right size to fit in my rig
Cons: Not too much. Perhaps a little costly, but it's a great product.
Quality: Well crafted. I give it two thumbs up. I've basically put it through hell, and it doesn't have a scratch on it.

Summary: Roland makes very good equipment. I would highly recommend the JV1010 sound module to any serious keyboard players.
