History:
Purchase: I bought this cymbal on ebay for around $90 includin shipping. Drum Gear Online was the seller. I bought this cymbal cuz I wanted to add a crash/ride to my set.
Pros: This is an awesome cymbal. Because it is such a heavy cymbal, it makes the perfect crash/ride, which is what I wanted. Saluda cymbals are top line for a low price. If I got a brand new rock crash by Sabian or Zildjian for the same quality I would be paying around $160 (that's almost half the price!!).
Cons: Nothing personaly. But, it's too heavy to be used as someone's main crash. Only buy this cymbal if you're looking for a crash/ride. If you want a crash, get the Saluda Mist 17" Full Crash (its around the same price).
18" Mist Rock Crash Quality: This cymbal is hand made. It also has a great polished brilliant finish. It's made out of B20 alloy, the same metal used to make the top line Sabians and Zildjians (HH ,K Custom). What more can you ask for in a cymbal? Saluda Summary: If you're looking for a top line crash/ride get this cymbal! If you want a good crash than get the Mist Full Crash. I will be getting Saluda SS 12" hi hats and maybe even that Saluda Mist 17" Full Crash. If you did't like the older saludas, try the Mist Line, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPIONTED!!
