Yamaki Review: Custom 125

Yamaki Acoustic Guitars

History:

Purchase: Purchased in Yokohama Japan, 1971

What I Like About This Yamaki Custom 125: Solid wood top with Rosewood back and sides. Great tone and action. Great finish Sounds like a guitar costing much more.

What I Do NOT Like About The Yamaki Custom 125: Not much I can think of for the price.

Yamaki Custom 125 Quality Rating: Solid spruce top. Rosewood sides and back. Neck has reinforced rod going through it with an adjustable key tool. I have not had to adjust it so far after 31 years. Nice mellow tone

Review Summary: Good value. Not too many of them in the US. Mostly Yamaha guitars. I purchased this instead of similarly priced Yamahas as it was a much better value
