Purchase: I have been installing sound systems in churches for about 10 years, and installed the LM5 Monitors in a church. I belive the church paid $350 each.
Pros: The 2 most important things I liked about LM5 are: 1)small foot print - even for a 15inch monitor it doesn't eat up precious stage floor space 2)Sonic quality - The 12inch version sounds good, but the 15 inch version has a freak quality that outperforms most wedges (especialy in that price range. It has a blend that is highly condusive to a stage mix. It helps stage volume problems by creating a clearer mix.
Cons: The only thing I would say is negative is actually common to most 15 inch monitors. It ways a ton
Quality: The units I used are carpeted plywood, but I believe you can now get them tuffcoated.
Review Summary: My company offers many brands of monitors, some 3 to 4 times more money, but I have started using the LM5 almost exclusively
