I bought this guitar online.
Pros: Decent sound for the money, i liked the rosewood fretboard. Cons: Not a lot, some difference in tone up the neck, but for the money, good instrument. Quality: Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, diecast bridge, aluminum resonator. Review Summary: I went between this one and a Regal, but for the money I am happy with the Johnson. Purchase: I purchased the guitar from Mandalymusic.com for $215.00 Pros: The price was right and they shipped the guitar very quickly for free. When I opened the box and removed all the packing material and unwrapped the guitar I was quite surprised, it looked much better in person than I thought it would/ The finish was very nice, it felt good and it sounded pretty good once i tuned it. Cons: After about 2 weeks the guitar developed an intermittent slight buzz in the body. At first it was very slight, but a week later the buzz is so horrible the instrument is totally unplayable. The real annoying thing is that you never know when the buzzing is going to start or stop. I have sent several emails to Mandalaymusic's customer service, but it has been over a week since the first one was sent and I have only received an acknowledgement that they have received my first email. The Buzz didn't start until after the window for returning the guitar had passed * one week after * Quality: you get what you pay for. a cheap price and a cheap guitar Review Summary: I wouldn't buy this guitar again, and not from Mandalaymusic.com |
