Schecter Review: Omen 6 String

Schecter Electric Guitars

History:

Purchase: $299 at Guitar Center, Memphis TN.

What I Like About This Schecter Omen 6 String: This is by far the best bolt on I have ever played. Great for a distorted sound and rock/metal, but could be used for anything. The neck is great, and there are 24 frets. Wood is awesome, ive dropped it and ran into many things and still have no dings or scratches on it. It is light weight.

What I Do NOT Like About The Schecter Omen 6 String: There is one flaw on this guitar, and that would be he tuning. It will stay in tune, but the high E string will occasionally go down to Eb.

Schecter Omen 6 String Quality Rating: Quality is beyond high, aside from the tuners. Body: Basswood Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood Scale: 25-1/2" Inlays: Dot Hardware: Chrome Bridge: Tune-o-matic Tuners: Chrome Frets: 24 Jumbo

Review Summary: For the money, this is the best guitar you can buy. I would reccommend it to anyone.

Rating of this Schecter product: 5

Schecter C-1 Elite - For the money it is probibly the best guitar out there. I really like it. Like I said I have two Paul Reed Smiths and I needed a beater, and let me say it is one hell of a beater....

Schecter Omen-6 - It's a kick ass guitar. Drop tuned, standard, it's all very clean. I've been as far as Drop Ab on this with very minimal buzz, if any at all. Solid body build, solid neck build, it's just a solid guitar. I'd swear by it....

Schecter 006 Deluxe - great guitar , looks pretty sic , its no ESP m-1000 but its still a sic guitar....

Schecter Diamond Series Elite 5 - If you are looking for a step up from the begginer basses this one is perfect. $600 may seem like a lot but you won't need another bass as long as you live. Sounds great live as well....

Schecter C-1 - If you are a begginer looking for a step up from your squire or a experianced player looking for a guitar that can take a licking and keep on ticking then this guitar is for you. ...

Schecter C-1 Stealth - I am very pleased with Schecter guitars. They make an excellent product. I also play a Mexican Strat, and the Schecter blows it away for quality, and it was cheaper than the Strat. I compared this guitar to an Epiphone LP and am glad I made the ch...

Schecter C-1 Plus - Not bad, but not fantastic either. Aesthetically it's awesome. Sonically it's good. Construction-wise it's mostly good, but has some issues. And as playability goes, it may be somewhat limiting to an advanced musician...but otherwise is okay. So...
