Tama Review: Rockstar Custom 5 Piece

Tama Drums Percussion

History:

Purchase: I purchased the Rockstar Custom 5 piece fusion shell pack from samash for about $600. Musicians friend had/has the same deal, but they didn't have the color i was looking for

What I Like About This Tama Rockstar Custom 5 Piece: This is one of the best drumsets i have ever played with. It has the perfect resonance, sound, and size that i needed. The snare is perfect for my band, and your can hear it clearly through our PA System. the toms work/sound perfect and add balls to our sound. This thing is built to last and is one solid piece of equipment. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a new drumset and has hardware already.

What I Do NOT Like About The Tama Rockstar Custom 5 Piece: The only thing i can say bad about it is that samash forgot to send me my bass drum legs to support it up. i had to wait about 3 weeks to set it up right. (Put some sticks in the holes) One minor dislike is that the floor tom is quite heavy and brings down the stand a little, so make sure you postition it up right.

Tama Rockstar Custom 5 Piece Quality Rating: The construction and quality of the kit is perfect. I have had no problems with durablity and it will last me many years.

Review Summary: Buy this kit if you need a good solid kit, and don't have $1,500 to spend. All you need is $600. I highly recommend this to all percussionists.
