History:
Purchase: I bought this guitar from One Man band in Banbury, i bought it as a begginers bass, and paid £159.
What I Like About This Aria STB-JB: really nice sunburst finish, it looks expensive. The pickups, even though they are on a cheap bass, are really growly and through the right amp, will actually sound fantastic. The quality of this Aria is second to none. Built like a tank and has taken some abuse from me! much better than the squire p-bass i own.
What I Do NOT Like About The Aria STB-JB: Action needs adjusting a little too often, but that's just probably me! also it aint a lightweight.Sounds deceptively normal through small amps!!! Geta powerful one and you will unleash it! other than that, thats all.
Aria STB-JB Quality Rating: Fantastic, really good quality. good high gloss finish that is very durable, well put together and feels very solid. tuning keys are solid and dependable, all round impressive stuff from Aria.
Review Summary: I bought this as my first bass, but then sold it to my girlfriend, cos i thought it was crappy (to begin with)then i got a new amp (carlsbro 4x10 150watt), tired of my crappy squire, i borrowed the Aria back. Was blown away by how fender-like it sounded, sound belies it's price. All round, if you get the chance to buy this, do so,you won't regret it. Don't touch those horrible squires!!!!
