Purchase: Mupo Music; Zwaag: The Netherlands
Great Shop!
Euro 375,- Pros: Looks great, sounds great. Cons: The fan is terrible. Normally you have bad luck when something breaks down. With this amp you can be surprised and feel lucky if the fan will keep on working. Quality: Good (fan excluded!) Summary: Don't buy this amp!!!!
I was lucky that the fan started to make funny noises after 1 day. I could return it.
A lot of reviews on line talk about the fan.

Purchase: I bought this amp about two years ago where I was stationed. I paid about 350 dollars.
Pros: The clean channel a chorus are nice, as well as the reverb. Cons: PIECE OF SHIT!!!! When I bought this thing, I thought "Now I have an amp to last forever, because it's a Marshall!!!" WRONG! Three days after I bought it, the fan went out, after getting it repaired, it went out again! Also, the distortion is awful! Not nearly as clean as a tube amp, nor does it have the tone.
Quality: Other then the fan, nothing really. It's a solid amp, just shitty wiring and design. Summary: This is a good beginner amp, though u should be for-warned about the FAN PROBLEM. Oh, by the way, the last time the fan went out, I just said to hell with it, and it fried the circuts. Oh well, all is well that ends well. I now own a real amp. "TUBE"

Purchase: I got this combo amp for £200 from 'Creative Music' in Milton Keynes, England. Pros: The amp sounds amazing, i was really impressed with it, and with it's handy built in effects- (Reverb, Chorus, Delay, Flange, and Chorus/Delay). It is very loud and manages anything from practice at home, to gigs at small venues. I was also impressed with the Owners Manual that comes with it, as it tells you a lot about the amp, how it is to be used, what all the knobs and buttons do, and it also gives you suggested settings for "bright clean", "classic crunch", "lead", and "metal". The amp is not too heavy, and so is easy to transport around with you. It has twin channels, one input jack, one emulated lineout and headphones jack, effects pedal line in and out jack, and it comes with a good sturdy footswitch allowing you to switch between the channels and turn the effects on or off.
Also i must mention the FDD system (emulates a valve amp) it is superb and really saves you alot of money. Cons: The overdrive channel has a "contour" control instead of the standard "middle" which was strange to me at first- this controls pretty much the overall tone of channel.
I am also NOT AT ALL happy with its build-quality as i will be explaining... Quality: It's a Marshall, right? and when buying a Marshall you expect the best quality construction on the face of the earth. hmmm. OK, i've had this amplifier for 2-3 months now, and already it is perishing, i will have to take it back at some point. First of all, the sound sometimes randomly decides to stop completely! thats right, the amp just fades out. and then in again if i'm lucky. and this is after 2 months of sitting in my bedroom- under all the perfect conditions it saying in the Owners Manual that it should be. ~I AM NOT HAPPY~ But whats more, over the last few days when i switch on the amp, the fan starts buzzing in the back, it stops and starts constantly, which as you can imagine is extremely off-putting, but can usually be fixed with a slight shake. I have to admit that after reading other reviews of this amp before i bought it i had been warned about the fan being "complete fucking shite" as the reviewer put it...
So not so good marks on the construction quality section *rolls eyes* Summary: Awesome Amplifier, I am impressed completely- APART FROM THE CRAPPY BUILD QUALITY! *looks angry-hehe*
But seriously, i'm not sure if i would reccommend it to you, as my relasionship with it hasn't exactly been the best of the best. But maybe this particular one happens to be faulty, as it is sincerely unlike marshall to produce anything of below top-quality.

Purchase: I got the amp at music123.com for $350. Pros: Great amp!!! Worth every penny. It is loud, has pretty good effects and a nice footswitch, it is fairly compact and light weight, and it sounds excellent. Cons: It is a great amp!! No problems!! Quality: Very high quality. Everything works perfectly and always will. That is why you buy a Marshall. Summary: Great amp for anyone, a begginer or a proffessional musician.

Purchase: I bought this amp before 4 months about 400 dollars.I wanted to play death metal with heavy cool sound, and this amp was ideal... Pros: Well, first of all, with this amp u can either practise with ur own garage band or even use it for gigs. It has four effects(chorus/delay,delay,chorus,flanger)and one seperate control for reverb. It has two channels(clean and overdrive) and it can simulate the sound of the expensive Marshall models. Cons: Sometimes,if you use a distortion pedal(i use Boss Metalzone Mt-2)the Flanger on the clean channel may not be heard properly.
I don't find any other disadvantages... Quality: Marshall=Quality
Summary: Well, this amp is ideal for both clean guitar playing and Death-thrash metal.

Purchase: I got this unit at a Music and Arts center for $300, which was a better deal for what they had it at Guitar Center. Pros: I don't like this amp, I love it!!! I love the onboard effects, especially the flange, delay and reverb. Even though it's a 50 watt amp, it's definitly loud enough for gigging, or practicing with your buds. With this amp, I can get anything ranging from low-down, knitty-gritty blues, to a classic rock tone, to in-your-face heavy metal. This one of the best versatile amps on the market! Cons: There is nothing about this amp that I don't like, I love it all!!! Quality: If it wasn't durable, it wouldn't be a Marshall. Summary: Overall, I love everything about this amp. This is a great versatile amp that can play anything from heavy metal to blues, and everything in between. If you looking for an inexpensive, yet quality amp from Marshall, that is soft enough to practice in the midnight hours, but can really deliver a punch for gigs, than this is the amp for you. Marshalls for everyone!!!

Purchase: NEW $350.00 TO PLAY MY NEW FENDER AMERICAN SERIES STRAT THROUGH. Pros: THE SOUND AND POWER. THE CLEAN CHANNEL WAS (I RETURNRD THIS UNIT) NICE WITH A CHORUS EFFECT AND/OR REVERB. IT WAS BETTER SOUNDING THAN ALL OF THE OTHER COMPARABLE UNITS IN THIS PRICE RANGE. IT ALSO SOUNDED BETTER THAN THE VALVESTATE COMBOS. BUT.... READ ON......... Cons: NEEDS ANOTHER VOLUME CONTROL ON THE CLEAN CHANNEL AND THE COOLING FAN IS A PIECE OF SH!T.IT WAS MAKING DYING NOISES SOON AFTER I GOT IT HOME. ALSO, I NOTICED THAT THE OVERDRIVE CHANNEL WOULD PRODUCE A STATIC NOISE BEFORE EACH PICKED NOTE. THIS WAS NOT THE PICK HITTING THE STRINGS NOISE BUT SOME OTHER SLIGHT BUT VERY NOTCABLE AND ANNOYING NON-MUSICAL SOUND EFFECT WHICH MADE ME NOT LIKE TO USE THE OVERDRIVE CHANNEL. Quality: IT IS SOLID.BUT THE HANDLE WILL VIBRATE A BIT WHEN CERTAIN NOTES ARE PLAYED.MADE OF PRESSED PARTICLE BOARD COVERED IN VINYL WITH CORNER PROTECTORS.IT LOOKED AND FELT VERY STURDY.BUT WHY DID THEY PUT SUCH A PIECE OF SH!T FAN IN THIS UNIT ? Summary: BOTTOM LINE IS DON`T BUY IT. I RETURNED MINE.IF YOU DO WANT TO GET ONE OF THESE MGDFX`S THEN BUY EITHER THE MG30DFX OR THE MG100DFX BOTH WHICH I HAVE READ NOTHING BAD ABOUT. I HAVE READ OTHER REVIEWS ELSEWHERE CONCERNING THE MG50DFX AND THE COOLING FAN IS DEFINITELY A PROBLEM WITH THESE AMPS. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR AN ALL TUBE COMBO WHICH I WILL THEN PAIR UP WITH A MULTI-EFFECTS PEDAL UNIT TO GIVE ME WHAT I WANT. THIS UNIT LET ME DOWN AND NOW I AM WEARY ABOUT OVERALL MARSHALL QUALITY AND WOULD HESITATE TO BUY ANOTHER. I PRESENTLY AM LOOKING AT OTHER BRANDS.
