Purchase: My dad bought this guitar in the late 80's. So it was well made unlike the new kramers that are made today. He cant remember how much he piad for it, but he gave it to me a few years ago when i started playing guitar. Since then i have loved it.
Pros: Everything! It's amazing, it is very light, has a great body to it and it sound damn great. Its also has a short neak to it which is very useful for running up and down solo's (another reason why i like it).
Cons: There is only a few things that are bad about this guitar. the first is that when you buy it, or before check the picup's. usally they will be cheep and you will need to spead a fortune on new ones. I suggest Seymour Duncan. The only other probem that i found with guitar is that it is near impossible to hammer. This is again to do with the picup's.
Quality: A very well built guitar. Light, good looking very good. Summary: Go buy one! I have played with many guitar and the only other that has come anywhere near is a Les Paul. Pros: The guitar has great distortion! It also has a small neak so you are able to work your way up and down quickly on solo's. Its al quite light and looks amazing.
Cons: Its is damn near imposible to hammer, cause of the picup's.
Quality: All of the guitar is amazing and I love it. The only thing that is shit about it is the picup's. If you are thinking about getting one be prepared to spend a bit on them. Seymour Duncan 'screeming deamons' are the best but they can be expensive. Summary: I will put it this way... I BELIVE the guitarist of Rage Against The Machine play with one so they must be amazing!!!The best guitar in the world! Buy one now!!! Purchase: i paid £150 for this thing, and it pretty much dissapointed me straight away. i was shocked to know gibson could come out with something so awful. it has now left me and a les paul has taken its place thank god.
Pros: nothin...it has a hell of a lot of distortion but for solos, dont even think about it, it sounds like a gayass 80s movie and chokes instantly when finger tapping, and i onlyhad it for a year, in brilliant cond. too.
Cons: everything, apart from the distortion u get when playing powerchords.
Quality: well, the construction is ok, but a lot of scratching will appear under the strings, and is clearly visable. Summary: this guitar sucks, if u want an avanced encore, be my guest
