Purchase: I bought this amp locally for around $100. I needed a small amp that would be easy to carry around to friends houses to jam with them without lugging a large amp.
Pros: I like the size, and the quality of construction. I already owned a larger Peavey amp (Ultra 112) so I knew that Peavey made a reliable product.
Cons: I don't like the absence of reverb. The Blazer model with reverb was not in stock at the time, so I got this one. I was in a hurry. That was a mistake. I should have looked around more and listened to more models. After playing with it for about 6 months, I finally traded it in on an Ibanez 15 watt amp with reverb that sounds better. The tone on this amp was not as good. Sounded a bit muffled... not clear, even on the clean channel.
Quality: Well constructed, and would probably last a long time. I have owned lots of Peavey products and always liked the reliability. In the end it was the poor tone quality and lack of reverb that made me get rid of this one.

Summary: I would buy a different amp. A Kustom or Ibanez or Orange or almost anything but a Rage. Other Peavey amps are very good, but this one is not that great.

Purchase: Bought it from music express for about $120.
Pros: It gives a damn loud sound for a little 15watt amp. At a gig a while ago when I was using it, it was louder than our opening bands 40watt.
Cons: Needs a pedal!! The distortion and clean isn't that great without a pedal and the sound isn't as loud. But hey it's only 15watts.
Quality: Pretty solid and has taken what i've thrown at it so far.

Summary: Excellant amp for the price. I use it for live gigs - just mic it to the P.A. and you got an excellant sound.

Purchase: I was looking for something to get to go with my new guitar and I had heard good things about Peavey so I went for the most expensive I could afford, which was 100 bucks from Axe's Music.
Pros: This is a very good sounding amp. It really helps my Fender Strat. sound great when I play even though I suck. I tried playing without it for a while but then soon realized that I couldn't do without being plugged into this thing. Plus I love the distortion on this thing, makes songs that weren't written for distortion sound really cool.
Cons: Not to much to complain about here. The only thing is when I'm trying to play along with a CD the amp picks up some waves and the quality of sound goes down a bit but that was expected.
Quality: It is, and always was, in very good condition. But then again, I haven't really beaten the thing up any as it hasn't moved from my bedroom floor since I got it. I do play with it a lot and it seems to be holding up just fine. The casing seems pretty study in case I drop it but I wouldn't go testing that out.

Summary: I'd say buy this amp. I have heard a few and this blows them all away hands down. That is of course if your just looking for something to amplify your sound and mabye throw a little distortion in there. If your looking for some fancy stuff I still go with a Peavey, just a different model of it.

Purchase: I bought this little 15 watt rage at a local dealer for around $100. I needed something small to play at home.
Pros: Well, it is everything I wanted and more in a practice amp. It had great tone and features, plus lots of balls. I use it out even!!! Only when I have small gigs though. I think it is great for playing to groups of 10-20 people. It really lets you blend in with the rest of the band yet still have extra when you need to take a lead. Of course this only works in small areas but what do you expect to get with a fifteen watt five pound amp.
Cons: I don't like that I can't put a foot pedal in it.
Quality: well It is a kick ass amp. It hasn't let me down yet. I don't expect it ever will. It has even dropped from 3 feet off the ground during a gig and it just kept on playing. I don't suggest trying it though.

Summary: This is a versatile amp that even my wife doesn't mind carrying around. It sounds great and is powerful and cheap. If all you want is a practice amp I suggest trying it in a store with a guitar similar to the one you one. It can't hurt to try it anyway
