Yamaha Review: F-310

Yamaha Acoustic Guitars

History:

Purchase: This is my Costcos guitar. Yes, I bought a guitar from Costcos Wholesaler... it was a 100 dollar package thingie...and basically was bought for convience. It was my first guitar, and a "trial" to see if I was serious or not.

What I Like About This Yamaha F-310: I like the fact that I can use the "Costco Guitar" pun on it... but as in the guitar itself, it seems to stay tuned for a while as long as you don't bang it around... and... well, its a guitar! That's an up! >D And its shiny! I'm easily amused, so shiny is a good thing.

What I Do NOT Like About The Yamaha F-310: The sound isn't all that great, but its not like you expect a Costco guitar to have great sound. I also broke one of the strings that was included with it within a week... while loosening it.... and... its kind of a yucky yellow color.

Yamaha F-310 Quality Rating: The thing is quite solid, except I could dent it easily... is that an oxymoron? It didn't seem like it would fall apart and crumble. Nope.

Review Summary: The Costco Guitar was fine for my first year of playing, but after a while, you just need to move on. So, if you can ever find this guitar at Costco for 100ish bucks, and you just remotely want to learn acoustic guitar, and you don't mind if its not the best thing in the world, go ahead! Take the chance and buy it! >D
