History:
Purchase: I bought this from a local music shop, to take on a plane for an out of state gig so I didn't have to risk my original 1962 Strat being damaged in shipment. I paid $50
for it.
Pros: I liked the fact that I was able to do the gig, got paid $350, which if you take away the $50 I paid for this guitar, I still made $300 for the gig.
I only used the middle pickup and it had a nice Telecaster sound, which seemed odd, but it did what it was supposed to do.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the weight, it was heavy, but that seemed to give it good sustain, so I can't complain.
Stratocaster Style Guitar Quality: I don't know or care about the construction but I will be trading it in soon. Memphis Summary: It looks very close to a Fender Stratocaster, but sounds more like a Fender Telecaster.
