Essex EG270 Review

History:

Purchase: Purchased the guitar over the internet from Rondo Music (www.rondomusic.com) located in Union, New Jersey. I was looking for an inexpensive Les Paul clone. I paid $200US for the guitar.

Pros: Paint (black,workmanship and materials are excellent.The setup was perfect The sound is authentic LP. This guitar was made in China by a company called Team guitars. Each guitar is checked out before shipment.



Cons: The only complaint I would have is that the fret edges were a bit rough (nit-picky). I had them smoothed out by a local tech for $10.

EG270 Quality: Construction was excellent and very high quality regardless of price.

Essex Summary: A fantastic bargain in an LP clone from a music store (Rondo Music) that provides excellent customer service (Kurt and Jason)and it was a pleasure doing business with them.
