History:
Purchase: I was looking for a good crash/ride for my set and I got this Item on ebay for $102. One heck of a deal.
What I Like About This Unit: This thing is very strong. And I loves my strong equipment. Pretty heavy cymbal. The ride on this thing is beautiful, I love it. Way more of a ride than a crash...should be labled as....ride/crash...er...something.
What I Do NOT Like About The Paiste Rude 19" Crash Ride: Like I said, it is more ride than crash. But I was looking for more of a ride cymbal anyways. The crash is very dark and the cymbal is LOUD! Almost too loud. I put tape on the bottom of it to help out.
Rude 19" Crash Ride Quality: Very strong, very heavy. Sturdy piece of work, it will last ages.
Summary: Don't buy this cymbal and expect a bright crash. After all it is a 19" cymbal. I really enjoy the ride and plan to get a Paiste 16" and just use this one as a ride. It's great!
