Akai Review: Headrush

Akai Guitar Effects

History:

Purchase: Bought it for my pedal board at West LA music for around $250.

What I Like About This Akai Headrush: Excellent facsimile of the old multi-head tape delay units of the 70's. Also has looping, tap tempo and damping.

What I Do NOT Like About The Akai Headrush: Not truly analog, so echo rate can't be deconstructed as the tails fade.

Akai Headrush Quality Rating: Very solid and dependable.

Review Summary: Excellent multi purpose delay with vintage sounds for those who can't be bothered with tape units.

Rating of this Akai product: 5
