History:
Purchase: I got the guitar off e-bay for 600 bucks. The first thing that caught my eye was the classy and sleek look of the guitar.
What I Like About This Gibson Les Paul Studio: This guitar is packed with tone. I got the one with the ebony fretboard, and this thing has a ton of bite to it. It sounds just as good if not better than any standard or classic ive ever played. It is also one of the nicest guitars to play.
What I Do NOT Like About The Gibson Les Paul Studio: There are just a couple of little things i dont like about it. First, Gison's nitrocellulose finish had a reaction with the rubber on the guitar stand, turnigh the white into brown, but only in the back and bottom where the stand touched. Another bad thing is the strings don't pass over the center of the saddles, which limits what type of replacement saddles you can get
Gibson Les Paul Studio Quality Rating: The construction is great. Its very sturdy and rarely needs to be set-up. I wouldnt say it's as sturdy as a telecaster, but pretty damn close.
Review Summary: An all around great guitar. It's way cheaper than a standard, and it sounds the same and plays better. The white finish with gold hardware is very nice. The most important thing is it has a huge sound, with enough bite to let your leads shine through.
