History:
Purchase: Bought it used at a guitar shop in town.
Traded in a Jackson RR-10D Rhodes flying V electric guitar and about $75.
What I Like About This Fender Stratocaster (Mexican Made): When I bought the guitar I liked that the previous owner had equiped it with 3 Fender Lace Sensor Pickups (red, blue, and silver).
When I decided to replace one of the pick-ups with a seymour-ducan livewire active pick-up I found out that the Lace-sensors wern't wired correctly. So when I got it all fixed, got my new pick-up in, got the bridge adjusted..... It was perfect. I love the guitar and I can't think of anything that I would change about it.
It is marroon and i took off the white pick guard to put on a tortoise shell... MMM it's beautiful, black knobs and pick-ups. Awesome guitar all around, great for any style of music.
What I Do NOT Like About The Fender Stratocaster (Mexican Made): N/A
Fender Stratocaster (Mexican Made) Quality Rating: For being a Mexican Strat i can't find anything wrong with the construction at all. Bridge works fine, I do use the tremelo. Fenders are awesome.
Review Summary: The strat is the best guitar I have ever owned. I'm currently looking to get another guitar with 24 frets and some humbuckers, but there is no way I'm getting rid of my fender.
