Washburn Review: WI14

Washburn Electric Guitars

History:

Purchase: I bought this guitar from ebay, brand new. I like Washburn guitars. Price: under $200.

What I Like About This Washburn WI14: The all maple body provides ample sustain and texture. It looks attractive as well. The humbucking pickups are loud. The fretboard is perfectly flat. It's easy to play. Overall, the sound is impressive. For an "economy" guitar, I'm very happy with my purchase.

What I Do NOT Like About The Washburn WI14: It took some time to set it up. But that's typical for a brand new guitar.

Washburn WI14 Quality Rating: I'm pleased with the overall construction.

Review Summary: This is a well built, great sounding, totally unique guitar. Classic design, affordable price, and terrific value!

Rating of this Washburn product: 4

Washburn WI66V - I have owned Gibsons, Guilds, G&L's, and Fenders. I don't think any of the big American manufacturers offer this level of quality or workmanship, and that's a shame. I wish this guitar was built in the states, and was representative of the quality...

Washburn Monterey Festival Series - This guitar was made at a time that acoustic electric with cut awy bodies were just starting to emerge. I also own a Washburn EA-20 but that guitar does not even compare to my Monterey. When the headstock was broken, so was my heart. There was never ...

Washburn D80sw USA Custom Shop - Its a Great Cannon! I don't think I could pay the 1899.00 USD MSRP for it, only because there is so much competion for beautiful guitars out there... But you're in luck!! Most dealers generally list this washburn series for far less.. Oh! Did...

Washburn PS100B Paul Stanley Signature - The guitar for some is a way to look cool. For others it has become a hobby, and further yet for some it is almost as needed as breathing....

Washburn XB200 - I saw someone playing the bass I almost bought instead, it was falling to pieces--I won't mention the manufacturer's famous name. Glad I bought this one....
