History:
Purchase: I got this cymbal in a pack with the matching 16" crash about 7 months ago. It cost $319 for the pack. I got it to upgrade from my original PROformance cymbals.
What I Like About This Zildjian 18" Z Custom Medium Crash: I like this cymbal a lot. It has a good weight to it and sounds awesome. It also has a cool looking spiral hammering that radiates from the bell. This cymbal is loud. Perfect for rock, metal, and hardcore.
What I Do NOT Like About The Zildjian 18" Z Custom Medium Crash: I wish i couldn put nothing bad about this cymbal down because it is such an awesome sounding cymbal, but unfortunuatley i recently found 4 cracks in it. I can still play it and it still sounds good but i guess i just played it too hard. For people that don't play very hard it would be great.
Zildjian 18" Z Custom Medium Crash Quality Rating: This cymbal has a good weight and seems like it would last a long time if it is well taken care of. Like i said i did crack it, but i do play very hard. You know it's a quiality product if it come from Zildjian.
Review Summary: This cymbal is a great cymbal, and unfortunatley i cracked it. It still sounds good, kinda trashy which is cool. So you get a lot of playability out of this cymbal even if it is cracked. If you don't have the money to get A customs or K customs then i highly recommend the Z custom crashes.
