On 2003-06-20, Gary B rated this Blueridge BR-160 a 5...(5121)

Purchase: Purchased on Ebay for $464.00 US
Pros: Solid Cedar top, solid rosewood sides and back. It has gorgeous tone and lots of volume. MOP inlays on neck and headstock.
Cons: The saddle was a touch too high for my tastes and I don't like the 'aged' yellow coloured top. It would have been nicer with a more subdued finish.
Quality: Its made in China. Besides the BR-160 I own a Takamine EF-341, Washburn D10 and a Samick D9 and I would put the BR-160 up against any of them.

Review Summary: Of my 8 acoustics it has quickly become my favorite strummer. I split time between it and my Tak for fingerpicking. I love the tone.
