History: I am no professional, but i have played a lot of different guitars in my life. I play just about anything. It just depends on the mood I am in. But my favorite thing to do is play some funky blues-ish jazz funk on my Blueridge.

Purchase: I received this guitar from a friend whom owned a guitar shop hear in town.
Pros: I like the fact that it is a sturdy guitar. It can stand up to anything you can throw at it. Just ask my ex!
Cons: The trim in the fret board got all dried out and is now cracking off. That took about 8 years to happen though.
Quality: Sturdy enough to be thrown across the front yard and still plays like a champ. Again I had a crazy ex!

Review Summary: If you are wanting a guitar that has a clean clear sound that will fill a room with a delightful sound that makes people smile then this is not the guitar for you. The Blueridge BR-OS is a loud deep sounding guitar. Very strong sound and carries far. I would say it is better for those blues songs that you want to hammer out and get funky with.
