Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I got this small Black, clear Smokey Amp at Mark's Music in Bangor ME.

This amp is cheep, it goes for about $30. You get ok sound, it can be used as a fuzz box, and it is battery operated.

It being useable as a fuzz box means it distorts at a fairly lo volume. There are no tome controll or volume nobs on this unit

The amp is well constructed with a nice hard plastic casing. There are no loose wires and it seems to work good.

For the money the Smokey Amp is a great buy. It works good, can be used as a fuzz box. It is also very portable and runs on a 9v battery. Its good for the cheep beginning guitarist. Check em out at www.Smokeyamps.com
