The service offered by Bill and Becky is superb. And blessingly free from any hype and marketing nonsense.
Besides, the only way to get a real Lawrence pickup, is to purchase it directly from Bill. The so called "Lawrence" pickups offered by other companies are rip offs, and frankly, pure crap. Great for picking up magnetic waste, but pretty much useless in a guitar. At $48,the real Lawrence L-450 is a tremendous bargain.
This pickup is simply the best sounding humbucker I've vere tried. Period.
It's got very sweet treble and a warm and well defined bass. It's got an almost acoustic quality that I've never heard in any other 'bucker'.Besides, it's totally "humphrie". In my opinion, this is the ultimate neck pickup in any double humbucker guitar. By tuning your amp, you can dial in the most musical tones you can imagine. If you play heavy rock, look elsewhere, for anything else - it's a joyride.

It's top notch and looks very clean and tidy. Bill uses only the best materials available.
As a bonus, you get Bill's schematics. He even strips the cable ends.
This is a pickup designed and made in tone heaven, as opposed to the "humbucker from hell" supplied by another brand which shall remain unnamed.
