Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

It has 3-band eq (bass middle treble) which is quite useful and it sure looks very cool! Thanks to the eq section you can dial a lot of different tones out of it. Overall the quality of the sounds are nothing special but considerint the price range quite useful. I compared Daddy'O to TS-5 (Soundtank) and eventually chose Danelectro.

It does suck tone i.e. there is a significant loss of high frequencies also when the unit is by-passed.The case is sturdy enough for stage use. Pots are direct mounted into a PCB so there is a serious chance for breaking the solder joints.

Otherwise (the quality of the components soldering work) it is quite OK considering the price range.

Cheap average quality and tone great looks.
