History: I have been playing guitar on and off for about four years now, mostly for my own personal pleasure. mostly Soft Rock, and Surf Type Music.

Purchase: Purchased this Guitar off of e-bay, paid $700.00 for it. It is a very nice Midnight Blue.
Pros: I have been playing a Schecter C-1 Plus, purchased this Fender, found the neck much thinner and faster, string set up closer to frets. Excellent Feel at least for me.
Cons: Pick hand gets caught on small set screws that set string height once in a while. Would lik eto see a bridge cover.
Quality: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent

Review Summary: Before purchasing I visited about ten different guitar stores, and tried out about 30 different Fender Strats, and about 20 other brand guitars of equal price and quality. This 40th Anniversary has the nicest feeling neck of all the guitars I tried out. It's a great guitar for the money.
