Garrison G-10 Reviews 5

After traveling many different music shops in my city and trying out almost every accoustic guitar in the shop I settled for this one. I had picked it up in 2 different shops, not realising it was the same Guitar and both times it stood out. I paid A$900 ($450 US) which came with a hard case.

It sounds fantastic with medium gague strings. Very crisp and clear sound, quite suitable for the beginner or more advanced players. I love the balance, how it feels and its versatility. It can ben finger picked, hammered or strummed till your hearts content.

There isn't much to dislike about this guitar. The weight was my only concern but I was brought up using a Nylon string guitar... naturally lighter. Perhaps the only negative to it is the tuners are quite sensetive. I got used to this quickly and do not see it as a negative anymore.

This Canadian made guitar is made from solid Canadian birch. The fretboard and bridge are made from east indian rosewood. It uses the "Griffiths Active Bracing System" which is a fibreglass shell and enables the guitar to be produced faster without diminishing the quality. The brace does not hinder the sound at all as fiberglass carries vibrations beautifully.

Fabulous guitar. Great sound, feel and look. Comes with a case and will last its owner a lifetime. BRILLIANT!
