Ibanez Sound Gear 605 Reviews 2

I bought this base because I wanted a 6 string bass and I banez had a great reputation for making a great sounding instrument.

The base is very light for a six string. It has a great sound. Pick ups on the bass give it a loud heavy sound.

Like all other Ibanez bass guitars of RECENT, MAJOR FRET BUZZ. It's cheaply made. Most of the Ibanez bass guitars that I come across are made in Korea instead of Japan. I guess the company is gunning for cheap labor as compared to quality.

Very delicate. Cheap wood and uneven frets which contribute to major buzzing. Not recomended for slap funk. It could get by as a rock bass, but I wouldn't chance it. Wood can be easily warped.

I had to get rid of it. I can't believe that Ibanez is going down hill with their guitars. I'd rather spend more money to get a quality bass such as an Ernie Ball or Warwick than going with Ibanez. The bass might be good for someone else's style, but I wouldn't recomend it.
