Italia Maranello Bass Reviews
I paid $70 for this thing at a garage sale...How stupid was the seller?
Almost everything!! It has 2 mini humbuckers, 22 frets, it's light, it's punchy, and it has really fast action. The sound is very malleable. When the bridge humbucker is engaged, it has a treble-heavy punch that is common to the Stingray. When both are engaged, it's very midrangey, kinda weak in the treble category, and has a solid bass tone. The neck pickup has a very rich and deep bass tone, without much treble. Whatever kind of sound you need, this bass can deliver without much trouble.
It kinda looks stupid, but even that's not that bad.
Like a rock. I haven't even had so much as a loose screw in the 2 years I have had it.
Try out this bass. Eventhough it may look like a pawn-shop-piece-of-sh!t, but it is magnificent.Blinkie Pluckie
