Marshall AVT150 Reviews
To sum up, The Marshall AVT150 amp head and AVT150A cabinet are a great combination of quality, flexibility and value for money. The tone is very good, although a true Marshall valve amp will better it in this sense but at more of a cost and with much less built-in digital effects. Compare to other manufacturers take on the same type of amp with... [read more on Audiofanzine]S2D rated this unit on 2014-09-02.
Im not saying this is a bad amp, its good for differnt kinds of music this is more for like alternative and im a lead player that plays in a 80s metal band so i need all that gain for the sustain and what not. [read more on Audiofanzine]Vlad rated this unit on 2004-08-26.
This amplifier is a very good value, and do not take it for an 'entry level' piece of equipment. However, note the importance of the extension speaker cabinet(AVTC112)which enhances the sound considerably, for a price in UK of about £180. It's still good value for such a monster which is a serious piece of kit. There are other good ... [read more on Audiofanzine]Martin Willmott rated this unit on 2004-08-23.

Excellent unit. If you like Jazz, Rock, or Metal, this is a absolute MUST. Just make sure you get a better cabinet than the AVT cabinet, otherwise you'll be robbing your AVT150H of its true cababilities. [read more on Audiofanzine]Andy rated this unit on 2004-07-20.

The bottom line is, if your looking to get any other marshall, before you spend almost 2000 bucks on a JCM TSL 100, cut the price in half and double the quality of sound and get the Marshall AVT 150. [read more on Audiofanzine]Mike Liorti rated this unit on 2003-12-05.
to summarize this. I would say that this would be a great amp for anyone to buy that is in a band because it is very loud. [read more on Audiofanzine]Todd Navillus rated this unit on 2002-12-29.

A great amp and you will be very happy especially if youve never had any DFX's before or never had a contour knob. It will take few days to get your head around the 24 different knobs and 6 controls on the footswitch but once you no whats going on youll wonder how you ever got by without them all. All it needs is the contour back and the... [read more on Audiofanzine]Rudyard rated this unit on 2002-10-10.

While some of the features would of been better of left out the good ones are really good. A versatile practice amp with great tone, volume and effects. Makes it a great amp to learn on since it is so versatile and has many effects so you do not have to fork out extra cash to have a large repertoire of effects to learn how to use them all.
