Nord NCMS Music Stand Reviews 5

It's a big black music stand that fits right into the slots of any of the Nord Stage, Piano, and C2 Models, as well as some Electro models.

I got it from Sweetwater Sound (the cheapest place I could find it) for $95.00 with free shipping. It was nice to not have to pay shipping from Sweden, where Clavia/Nord is based.

Much bigger than I thought it would be, but not a huge presence on stage. It's sturdy enough to hold several Real Books or musical scores at once, and the rubber padding on the base keeps books ON the stand. I can't tell you how many times I've had books fall off from the bottom, and I can guarantee it will NEVER happen with this stand. It's also tall enough to handle music printed on lead sheet or legal size paper, which is a huge plus for a jazz pianist like myself.

As with most Nord products I encounter, I can't even think of one.

Nord always does a great job of finding where the NEEDS are in the customer base and building a product that fills them no matter what. They don't hold out on features like car company or build tiered models. You get all the features in whatever flavor board you want. And the construction of this one music stand reflects all of that in its durability, performance, professional looks, and size. Well done, Clavia/Nord, once again. You've managed to exceed my expectations on something as simple as a music stand attachment for my keyboard.

I'll quote myself: 'Nord has exceeded my expectation not only with everything they do, but even with something as simple as this music stand attachment. They thought of everything when they built it, and it shows.'

Definitely Definitely DEFINITELY check the fitting list on Clavia/Nord\'s website to make CERTAIN that your keyboard is designed to fit one of these. Depending on where you get it from, I doubt they\'ll be easy to return, especially if it\'s overseas.
