Rode NT 1 Reviews  5 / 5 based on 5 reviews I like the ease of use. I appreciate the excellent and faithful reproduction it produces...It records like a dream and, if placed properly can capture exactly what you want...It's well built but I wouldn't recommend tossing it down a flight of stairs...

Since there's no real difference between the Rode NT1 and the Rode NT1-A, both are definitely viable options as a condenser microphone for your home studio. To my knowledge it was the very first affordable large diaphragm condenser mic on the market. Now I believe there are other makes and models available which I have not tried and cannot compare this to.
