Stellah LP Unfinished Kit Reviews 5

This is an unfinished Gibson Les Paul style electric guitar kit. It is a full size model. It is in unfinshed wood - not varnished. The body wood is basswood. The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. It comes with 2 humbucker pickups and all the usual parts you would find with a les paul guitar. I have being playing for around 7 years. In one or two bands - Saffron Junction, the blue blades. I like Mike oldfield, Henrix, Pink Floyd to name but a few.

The postive features of this products are the quality of the parts. The body is accurately sculpted with pre drilled holes for the various parts. Likewise, the neck is perfectly shaped with truss rod and frets already installed. All of the rest of the hardware are very good quality given the low price. The pickups surprised me the most and give the guitar a great sound.

It could have come with some instructions or a wiring diagram, but most of the assembly was obvious and I just googled some wiring diagrams. Actually it was kind of nice having to do a bit of research rather than just following exact instructions, as I learned much more.

I will just repeat what I said above:The postive features of this products are the quality of the parts. The body is accurately sculpted with pre drilled holes for the various parts. Likewise, the neck is perfectly shaped with truss rod and frets already installed. All of the rest of the hardware are very good quality given the low price. The pickups surprised me the most and give the guitar a great sound.and also add that the final product is fantastic and something I am very proud of.

Go buy on of these. They are so much fun to make. You get a real sense of satisfaction when you are holding the finished article in your hands. As well as this you get a damn good guitar for peanuts. And you can also customise it to taste. brilliant purchase. there are a few other models available so I will definitely check out some of the other ones. It's a superb site for unusual hard to find stuff.
