Yamaha Builds on Guitar Success With Innovative Gig Bag Line

Yamaha introduces a full line of gig bags for guitarists and electric bassists, from entry level players to professionals. The line, which will debut at Winter NAMM 2007, includes the Artiste Series, the Virtuoso Series and the Signature Series Guitar Bags. The Virtuoso and Signature series bags come with Air Cell shoulder pads for increased comfort. The Signature Series also offers corner guards, side reinforcements and extra pockets. All models in the line offer self-repairing zippers, thick interior padding, an outer shell made from tough 600 denier material and plenty of pockets for tools and strings. Available in an attractive black and gray color scheme, the Artiste, Virtuoso and Signature bags come in three different models: one fits acoustic guitars and oversize electric guitars, one fits most solid-body electric guitars and another fits electric bass guitars.

"The luggage-grade quality of Yamaha keyboard bags is well-respected in the industry and we have made the same commitment to excellence with our guitar bags, confirming Yamaha as the industry's quality leader," said Kenya Austin, product manager, Accessory Products, Yamaha Pro Audio & Combo Division.

The Artiste Series Guitar Bags, the Virtuoso Series Guitar Bags and the Signature Series Guitar Bags are scheduled to ship in February 2007.
